Our Approach
Practical Technology for Real Life
Let’s be honest. A lot of tech advice out there is either way over your head or so watered down it doesn’t actually help you do anything.
Inside My Computer takes a different approach. Every guide is built around one simple question: will this actually help you get something done?
That means real-world examples, step-by-step instructions and recommendations that make sense for everyday budgets… not just the most expensive gadget on the shelf.
If it doesn’t help you solve a problem or learn something useful, it doesn’t belong here.
-
Practical Applications
Guides focus on the things you’ll actually do: setting up, upgrading, fixing and protecting your technology.
-
Tested Solutions
Whenever possible, steps are worked through hands-on before they’re written up, so you’re not the guinea pig.
-
Understandable Explanations
Tech terms get explained in plain English the first time they show up. No decoder ring required.
-
Realistic Recommendations
Advice that fits real needs and real budgets, with honest pros and cons along the way.
About the Author
Meet Johnny, the Guy Behind the Keyboard
Just Enough To Be Dangerous!!!
Greetings! My name is Johnny Rogers and I’ve been working with computers for over 30 years. My first one was a Packard Bell 386 desktop back in 1990, and I’ve been poking around inside computers ever since.
Over the years I’ve gotten hands-on with computer hardware, Windows, macOS, Linux, home networking, WordPress and home servers.
Do I know everything about all of it? Not even close. The truth is, the more I learn… the more I realize how little I actually know. But I continue to learn, and Inside My Computer is where I share what I’ve figured out with you!
